Discover the Lion King musical in Madrid

Background
The musical celebrates the Disney film of the same name. It premiered on Broadway in 1997 and has since been staged in more than 25 countries around the world. With wonderful sets and a fantastic soundtrack, this is a show guaranteed to impress and is recommended for ages 6 and above. It is produced by Stage Entertainment and is the largest musical production ever staged in Spain, employing more than 140 people, including directors, make-up artists and performers.

Where can you find it?
As we have mentioned before, the musical has been running in Madrid for 10 years, more specifically at the famous Lope de Vega Theatre, just a three-minute walk from Gran View Apartments. This theatre is located at Gran Vía 57, which makes it easy to reach from anywhere in the city by car or public transport. The nearest Metro stops are Santo Domingo, Plaza de España, Callao, Noviciado and Gran Vía.

Tickets and timetables
Ticket prices range from 25 to 150 euros, depending on where your seat is located. You can buy yours on the official website, at the theatre box office, or by phone. Performances are from Tuesday to Thursday at 20:30, Fridays and Saturdays at 18:00 and 22:00 and Sundays at 18:00. The show lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes, with a 20-minute intermission.
